Voting Members
Voting members hold national membership in AGO and are affiliated with
a local chapter, vote in national and chapter
elections, and are eligible for all other membership benefits at both
levels. Dues of Regular, Special, Student and Partner members are shared
between the chapter and national headquarters. Dual membership is for those who are already voting members in one
chapter and wish to be affiliated with another. The TAO column indicates whether a subscription to
The American Organist magazine is included.

Chapter Friends
Chapter Friends are those not in the organ and choral professions who
are interested in the work of a local AGO chapter and wish to receive its newsletter without
holding national membership. Chapter Friends are not eligible for national
member
benefits, cannot vote or hold office, and do not receive The
American Organist magazine. Organists and choir directors are not
eligible to join as Chapter Friends.
Non-Voting Members
Non-voting members receive only a subscription to The American
Organist magazine without any member benefits or chapter affiliation.
Individuals and organizations may become non-voting members by subscribing
through the AGO Online Store Web site.
Member Benefits
Member benefits at the national level include subscription to The American Organist
magazine, special member rates for
national and regional conventions, resources for education and professional development,
and availability of professional certification and group insurance plans. For more about these and other benefits, see the AGO National
membership page.
Los Angeles Chapter benefits include LA Pipeline (our chapter
newsletter), AGO Calendar, AGO Southern California Directory,
a directory listing, chapter programs and social activities, list of available
positions, and listing on our Substitute Musicians list if desired.
