AGO Calendar

The AGO Calendar lists many musical events including organ recitals, choral programs, chamber music and other concerts, special services, workshops, even silent films with organ accompaniment, in the Long Beach, Los Angeles, and Orange County areas. Most of these events are open to the public, and many are free of charge. AGO-sponsored events are indicated by the initials AGO.

While part of the calendar is included with chapter newsletters, this online edition includes all future events that have been submitted. The AGO Calendar is updated with new listings and changes regularly throughout the season, so please check the calendar frequently.

Listings are subject to change; for the most current information about an event, check with the sponsoring organization.

Guidelines for Calendar Listings

Calendar items from members of the Long Beach, Los Angeles, and Orange County AGO chapters should be sent to the calendar editor, Vincent Verga, by the 15th of the second month preceding the event (example: January 15 deadline for March events). Events will be included at the editor's discretion, and will be edited for style and space requirements. Please include:

Date and time
Performer, or group and conductor
Event title, or major works or composers
Venue, street address, city
Telephone number and/or website for more information
Admission policy (one of the following):
    Ticket price or suggested donation amount, or
    Freewill offering, or
    Free

Remember to notify us of any changes for events previously submitted.
