Thomas Mellan, organist/composer, presents a program of Liszt, Telemann, Poulenc, Mendelssohn and Schoenberg. Clarinet, violin and organ pieces including transcriptions by Mr. Mellan. Acclaimed and award-winning organist who was a "Rising Star" performer for West Region AGO Convention and was invited to record on the Walt Disney Concert Hall organ DVD. 

 

Mr. Mellan is pursuing a Master of Music degree in Composition at USC where he was awarded the Thornton Faculty Award in 2013, the most prestigious scholarship awarded to an undergraduate at the Thornton School of Music. Joining Mr. Mellan in concert will be Espen Nystog Aas, clarinet and Orest Smovzh, violin.
